About me
Stephanie Byers serves as the Regional Internship Manager for GO Virginia Regions 1 and 2 with EO, an intermediary partner for the Virginia Economic Development Partnership’s InternshipsVA program. In her role, Stephanie works with employers and regional partners across Southwest Virginia, the New River Valley, Roanoke Valley, and Lynchburg to expand internship opportunities, connect businesses with emerging talent, and strengthen the region’s talent pipeline.
Stephanie brings a background in employer engagement, business development, higher education, and relationship management. Prior to joining EO, she served as Director of Alumni Relations for Virginia Tech’s College of Science and held business development and strategic account management roles with organizations including WeWork and iHeartMedia.
A Radford University graduate, Stephanie is deeply invested in the communities she serves and remains actively involved through volunteer leadership with organizations including the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce, Downtown Christiansburg Inc., and Virginia Cooperative Extension. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, hiking, and planning trips around her favorite concerts.
